The Art of World of Warcraft, Grinding, and Reaching 60 and 70
by: AzureWings
I admit, when WoW first came out, I hated it! I was completely against not the concept of it, for I’ve been a Warcraft fan for quite some time, but the fact that the majority of the early game is not a very fun experience. Namely: Grinding.
For those of us who are new to WoW and online gaming in general, grinding is the act of killing lots of monsters and going through quest after quest trying to gain levels to reach a competitive peak. In many games, WoW included, grinding is an arduous process, and requires, taking 60+ hours to get to level 60 (the old max level), and almost twice as long to reach level 70!
However, there is a solution to this. If you take grinding, and break it into an almost mathematical process, it becomes simple, exciting, and, dare I say, fun? Grinding the correct way it is possible to become level 60 in 25-26 hours!!!
Amazing, I know. When I first heard this, I was skeptical. Now I look at myself and wonder why I ever doubted. Leveling fresh new Blood Elves is a piece of cake now, and I’m actually enjoying it! For once, WoW is worth the monthly payments in my eyes.
This is all thanks to the wonderful advocates of grinding, Joana and Kopps. These two brave souls have cracked the hidden secrets of grinding. Not only that, but the articles are updated for the expansion, teaching you how to get a level 70 in 10 days! I’d recommend these articles, one for hoard and one for alliance, too all who play wow, even if you don’t power level just for the secrets it provides.
