The WoW Warlock is one of the fastest classes to level in World of Warcraft due to the fact that they are also a pet class. Depending on the talents that you choose, warlocks can have a number of different pets but unlike hunters, they cannot tame any pets and they are more restricted.

One of the reasons that the WoW warlock tends to be faster to level then other classes is that they have an ability to solo the vast majority of group quests. This is because they can have a tanking pet to do much of the work for them and they also have powerful spells and can use a spell called fear.

Warlocks do not have a particularly steep learning curve but they can be a little more complicated to master than some of the other classes. Nonetheless, they are one of the most fun classes to play and can hurl out a great deal of damage, especially if they are configured as destruction.

The two other talent trees that are available to the warlock are affliction and demonology. Affliction concentrates more on damage over time which is another one of the warlock’s specialties. Demonology concentrates on improving your pets and by investing a lot of points in this tree, you will eventually be able to get the Felguard which is the ultimate tanking pet available to the warlocks.

Warlocks can also dish out an enormous amount of burst damage if they spec destruction. With the specification they are almost like mages with the addition of a pet to help hold aggro from monsters that they are attacking.

The WoW warlock also has at their disposal an effective anti-caster pet known as the felhound. This is the favorite when fighting enemies which use mana since they can help to interrupt spell casting and drain mana. Warlocks are a great fun class to play if you like to do massive amounts of damage or enjoy soloing and playing a class which has pets available to it.
