Well grinding takes some time. But if you do a quest that needs an item that drops from a mob grid and finish it, you will get extra experience. Ensure you grind for mobs that are not more than 3 level above you or 3 level below you. I am sure you do not want to get killed

Don’t waste time gathering gear

Now the point is to level up faster not. Do not waste time getting that gear for your level. In World of Warcraft you should be worrying about gear at the few highest levels. Even though your gear will be a little weak it should be enough to defeat all those mobs.
